Hi, my name’s Jill, and I’m your personal guide. Along with MyWoWo, I’d like to welcome you to one of the Wonders of the World: Dubai Parks and Resorts.

Dubai Parks and Resorts is a fabulous 2.3-kilometer complex comprising a resort and three different theme parks.

At the entrance to the complex is Riverland, divided into 4 different themed areas that will take you on a trip into the past and to various corners of the world: 1950s America, India, a medieval French village and a large square where concerts and festivals are held. Riverland offers restaurants for all tastes, as well as the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing stroll along the river around the park.

From here, you can reach the entrances of the three theme parks, which cater to all tastes: Legoland for kids, Motiongate for animated movie lovers and Bollywood Parks, where you can discover the music and the colors of the “Indian Hollywood”.

At Legoland, which owes its name to the world-famous play bricks, you can visit a Lego factory to find out where all the fun begins, enjoy the Lego City rides, take on a challenge or two in the medieval castle, relish the underwater adventures and even visit Miniland, a miniature city reproducing the Dubai skyline and other famous places in the Middle East.

Next to Legoland is the Legoland Water Park, which I’ll be telling you about in a separate file dedicated to the city’s water parks.

Moving on to Motiongate, this theme park is inspired by some of the best-known animated and action movies of Columbia Pictures, Lionsgate Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation.

The visit begins with Studio Central, where you can admire movie sets and find out all about what goes on behind the scenes!

In this park, you’ll find thrilling attractions such as rollercoasters and areas for kids such as the Smurf Village, and you’ll also have the chance to enjoy 4D projections in motion simulators, or a parade featuring the characters from the animated movies.

An interesting fact: every building in Miniland was built by hand with Lego bricks - almost 20 million of them! If you’d like to have a go yourself, there’s an area especially for aspiring builders!
