Ocean Park is divided into two large areas, Waterfront and Summit, and into seven themed areas.
I suggest you try out the different transportation options in the park, because they’re an experience in themselves: a 225-meter escalator links Marine World with Adventure Land, and a spectacular cable car that takes visitors from Waterfront to Summit.
If you’re not so keen on heights, you can take the same trip on the Ocean Express funicular, and experience a simulation of an adventurous journey under the sea.
In some areas of the park, you’ll find reproductions of different natural habitats.
In the “Amazing Asian Animals” area, you can have a close encounter with some splendid birds of prey, rare Asian birds, otters and specimens of a number of species that are almost extinct, such as the Chinese alligator, the giant salamander, the giant panda and the red panda.
At “Aqua City”, you’ll find typical Australian animals, such as the koala, the red-necked wallaby and the delightful kookaburra bird.
Another inhabitant of the Park in need of protection is the highly unusual golden snub-nosed monkey, a beautiful creature with a cute blue face....
