Francesco di Bartolomeo di Zanobi del Giocondo, also known as Francesco del Giocondo (Florence, 1465 - Florence, 1538), was an Italian nobleman and merchant. According to Giorgio Vasari, del Giocondo would have commissioned Leonardo da Vinci's La Gioconda; in fact, this portrait could be of his wife, Lisa Gherardini.
