The Große Orangerie, also known as the Great Orangerie, is a magnificent building located in the grounds of Charlottenburg Palace. It was built between 1709 and 1712 in a Baroque style and originally served as a greenhouse for exotic plants and citrus fruits from the royal garden. Today, the Große Orangerie hosts temporary art and history exhibitions.
