The Lioness Pediment is a significant archaeological find from the Archaic Period in Athens. It dates back to around 570 BC and depicts a scene of a bull being attacked by two lionesses, along with other mythological and symbolic figures. The pediment was originally part of the temple known as "Hekatompedon" before the construction of the Parthenon. The sculptures were originally painted in bright colors, which have since faded over time.
