Hi, my name’s Rick, and I’m your personal guide. Along with MyWoWo, I’d like to welcome you to one of the Wonders of the World: Furore.

Furore is a unique, delightful village, best known for its “fjord” and its characteristic houses perched on the rock. This magical place, often referred to as "the village that doesn’t exist" because of its peculiar structure, scattered between the sky and the sea, offers visitors a number of attractions of considerable historical, cultural and natural interest.

The Fjord of Furore is undoubtedly the main attraction. This deep, narrow cleft in the rock has been created by the the Schiato stream over thousands of years.

The “fjord” is crossed by a distinctive road bridge about 30 meters high, from which the Marmeeting, a world championship of diving from great heights, is held each year. The beach, just 25 meters long, hidden inside the fjord and accessible by a flight of steps, offers a unique experience of sea and nature....
