"The Stories of the Passion" (Storie della passione) is a cycle of frescoes painted by the Italian artist Ambrogio Lorenzetti in the 14th century. These frescoes are located in the Lower Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi, Italy. The cycle depicts the events leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, including his betrayal, trial, and crucifixion. Lorenzetti's frescoes are known for their expressive storytelling and emotional intensity.
