Salone dei Cinquecento

The Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio is a grand hall where the first city council meetings were held and later modified to host hearings given by Francesco I. The raised platform with various 16th-century statues within the hall was built by Giorgio Vasari for this purpose. The hall is a significant space within the palace, showcasing both its historical and artistic importance.
