The Trinity is a famous fresco painted by Masaccio in the Brancacci Chapel of the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine in Florence, Italy. It is the last known work of the painter, who died very young at just 26 years old, and it is considered one of the most important works of the Renaissance for its perfect synthesis between painting, sculpture and architecture. The characters are arranged to simulate progressive depth.
