The Sedile is a building located in Piazza Sant'Oronzo in Lecce. This is the former seat of the town hall, built by Alessandro Saponaro in 1592. The Sedile was used by the mayor to administer justice and receive citizens. The building has characteristic Lecce architecture, with its two large pointed arches and military trophies carved above the arches.
