The Serpent of Moses refers to a bronze sculpture dating from the Romanesque period located inside the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio in Milan. This sculpture represents a snake coiled around a tree and refers to the biblical episode where Moses raises a bronze serpent to heal the Israelites bitten by snakes in the desert.
