Alfonso de Trastámara, known as "the Magnanimous," was a Spanish prince from the royal house of Trastámara of Aragon. He became King Alfonso V of Aragon, ruling over several kingdoms and titles, including Naples from 1442 to 1458. As the eldest son of Ferdinand I of Aragon, he played a fundamental role in the history of the Crown of Aragon.
