The Lupa Capitolina (Capitoline Wolf or the She-Wolf) of Rome, is an iconic sculpture located in Rome. It depicts the figure of a she-wolf suckling the twins Romulus and Remus, the mythical founders of the city of Rome. This sculpture is considered a symbol of the city's foundation and its cultural tradition. It was sculpted in bronze and is believed to date back to the 5th century BC. Over the centuries, it has been restored and relocated to different places in Rome, but it is currently housed in the Capitoline Museum, one of the city's most important museums.
