Constantine was a Roman emperor who ruled from the year 306 to 337 AD. He is known for being the first emperor to embrace Christianity and promote its tolerance in the Roman Empire. He is also famous for relocating the capital of the Roman Empire from Rome to Constantinople (now Istanbul, Turkey). His reign marked a turning point in the history of the Roman Empire and had a significant impact on the development of Christianity.
