The Stanza della Segnatura is one of the four rooms in Raphael's Rooms, located in the Vatican Palaces. It was the first room to be decorated by Raphael and is named so because it was where the popes used to sign documents. The room is adorned with frescoes representing different philosophical and theological themes, such as "The School of Athens," which depicts classical philosophers like Plato and Aristotle. There are also frescoes representing law, poetry, and theology, creating an intellectual and meaningful atmosphere. Raphael managed to combine precision and technical perfection with great emotional expression in his paintings, making the Stanza della Segnatura a masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance.
