Doge Giovanni Pesaro of Venice was a Venetian noble who held the position of Doge or ruler of Venice from 1658 until his death in 1659. During his tenure, he was noted for his efforts to strengthen the economy and naval power of the Republic of Venice. However, I do not have specific information about his relationship with the Ca' d'Oro or whether he had any role in the restoration of the palace.
