The CO.BR.A group (Brussels Architecture Cooperative) is a collective of architects based in Brussels, Belgium. Founded in 1964, the group was made up of different architects and urban planners who shared a common vision of architecture and urban planning. The main objective of CO.BR.A was to promote a collaborative approach to architecture, emphasizing the participation of residents and users in the design of urban spaces. They sought to create sustainable, inclusive and aesthetically pleasing living environments. CO.BR.A has developed several emblematic projects in Brussels, notably the Logis-Floréal district in Watermael-Boitsfort and the Floréal district in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert. They have also been involved in urban renewal projects, social housing and the development of public spaces. The CO.BR.A group has contributed significantly to the evolution of architecture and urban planning in Brussels, by promoting sustainable and participatory practices.
