Casa Milà, also known as Pedrera, is one of the most admired masterpieces of the ingenious Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. It is located in Barcelona and is considered one of the wonders of the world. Commissioned by wealthy businessman Pedro Milà i Camps in 1906, the construction was completed in around five years. Gaudí's architecture often takes inspiration from nature, and the curved lines of Casa Milà's façade resemble sand dunes, giving the impression of movement. Gaudí also connected the two adjacent buildings, creating a seamless flow of curves between the two façades.
