Casa de Cisneros is a building located in Madrid, near the Plaza Mayor. It takes its name from its founder, Cardinal Francisco Jiménez de Cisneros, who was an influential clergyman and politician from the time of the Catholic Monarchs in the 15th century. The Casa de Cisneros is a remarkable example of Isabelline Gothic architecture, with Renaissance elements. The building features a richly decorated facade with sculptures and reliefs depicting various religious and mythological motifs.
