Philip Johnson was an American architect known for being one of the main proponents of the International Style and for his work in modern architecture. He was one of the first architects in the United States to adopt the modern style and played a significant role in introducing these ideas to the country. Some of his most famous works include the Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
