Franz Kafka

Franz Kafka was a Czech writer of Jewish origin, considered one of the most important and influential authors of the 20th century. He was born in Prague in 1883 and stood out for his surreal and existential works, which explore themes such as alienation, bureaucracy, and metamorphosis. Some of his best-known works include "The Trial," "The Metamorphosis," and "The Castle." Kafka wrote in German, despite being born and living in Prague, which is curious considering his Czech origin.
