The Church of San Salvatore al Monte in Florence is an important Renaissance-style building built between the end of the 15th and beginning of the 16th century. Located just behind the Esplanade Michel-Ange square, it offers a panoramic view of the city. The church has a facade of white marble and green marble, with five Florence stone arches at the bottom and a 13th-century mosaic above the central window depicting Christ enthroned between Mary and Saint Miniatus, the evangelist of Florence. Inside, there are three naves supported by columns and pilasters, with a refined geometric pattern in white and green marble reminiscent of that of the facade.
