Gaetano Donizetti

Gaetano Donizetti was an Italian composer of the 19th century, known primarily for his operas. He was born on November 29, 1797, in Bergamo, Italy, and died on April 8, 1848, in the same city. Donizetti composed over 70 operas, among which titles such as "L'elisir d'amore," "Lucia di Lammermoor," and "Don Pasquale" stand out.
