Guido Reni was an Italian painter born in Bologna in 1575. He was one of the main representatives of the Baroque style and was noted for his skill in the use of color and light in his works. Reni was known for his technical virtuosity and refined style, as well as for his ability to portray human figures with great detail and realism. Among his most famous works are "Saint Sebastian," "Atalanta and Hippomenes," and "The Aurora." He also worked on numerous frescoes, both in Bologna and in other Italian cities.
