St. Thomas Aquinas

Saint Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274), an Italian theologian and philosopher, stands as one of the most prominent figures of medieval Scholasticism. A pillar of Catholic theology, he integrated Aristotelian philosophy with Christian doctrine, promoting a balance between faith and reason. His major work, the "Summa Theologica," aims to systematically present the entirety of Christian doctrine. Canonized in 1323, he is the patron saint of universities and Catholic students.
