Andrea Palladio was a renowned Italian architect of the Renaissance. He was born in 1508 in Padua and is credited with creating an architectural style called Palladianism. Palladio was famous for his designs of villas and palaces, where he combined classical elements of Roman architecture with balanced and harmonious proportions. His most famous works include the Villa Rotonda, the Basilica of Vicenza, and the Teatro Olímpico in Vicenza.
